Nous avons grandement apprécié comme toujours la tranquillité et les espaces mis à notre disposition. Nous avons toujours grand plaisir à retrouver les interlocuteurs habituels à la réception toujours aussi disponibles et attentifs. Les animations auxquelles nous avons participé sont toujours aussi appréciées : mention spéciale pour l'originalité de la natation synchronisée.
Nous ne sommes pas des grands adeptes du bracelet de paiement ; d'autant plus que nous n'avons pas reçu l'information préalable que le remboursement du solde serait facturé 1 € par bracelet. La mise en place nécessite de se connecter au site du bracelet et à notre banque, d'utiliser nos téléphones, alors que nous cherchons justement à nous en détacher pendant cette période dans votre camping.

Avec l'expérience acquise, nous vous promettons une expérience plus satisfaisante l'été prochain. A noter: la mention d'une facturation au moment du remboursement des sommes non utilisées était une erreur de paramétrage du système, mais aucune somme n'a jamais été prélevée à aucun client.

Un vrai moment de détente en famille (3 ados) au camping La Garangeoire. Très grand emplacement très ombragé (1 caravane et 2 tentes). Plusieurs piscines et un lagon avec plage super sympa. Épicerie sur place, resto (sur place et à emporter). Système de paiement dématérialisé (bracelet), idéal avec des ados. De nombreux chemins à proximité, du pédalo sur un de leurs étangs. De belles visites patrimoine à faire dans les environs et loisirs (accrobranche). Bref on a tous adoré !

Nous avons aimé beaucoup d''ensemble du camping: situation geographique, paysage autour, lac, forêt, grandeur emplacement,propreté de sanitaires piscine et restaurant eloignés de partie location , l'equipe souriant et serviable.En plus, la clientele respectieuse .Nous sommes deçu de ne pas pouvoir rester au moins 10 jours.Faut de ne pas faire la reservation en avance.. 2 nuit passé avec de changement l' emplacement mais il value.Nous sommes tres, tres content. Camping decouvert par hasard mais quelle surprise.On reviens surement.

Camping très agréable, spacieux,de grands emplacements .. Camping ombragé donc parfait pour les forte chaleur !des fontaines d'eau fraîche a disposition.. Un accueil chaleureux, à votre écoute et de bon conseil. Je recommande sans soucis.
Les sanitaires avec l'influence manque sûrement d'un passage supplémentaires pour le nettoyage. La piscine un peu petite pour le notre de personnes dommage car l'eau devient trouble avec toute les crèmes solaires !!!

Petite remarque sur la tonte de l'herbe sur les parcelles tout le vendredi après-midi d'un pont d'ascension. Impossible de se reposer, le jardinier venant même tourner autour des camping car ou tentes occupés avec vacanciers présents.. Le reste était parfait.

The campsite is well laid out, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The campsite is continually being refreshed and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
The birds shower blocks could do with a refresh. We are concerned that quite a few of the Classic pitches are being upgraded, which could restrict our choice in future, but understand that certain changes are necessary for the growth of the business.

This was our 2nd visit with our now teenage children. It was a joy to return with our children again and also our dog. The first week was at full capacity but this did not matter as everything is so well organised. I liked that the sun beds were checked sometimes so more people could get a bed instead of towels, beds and toys. A highlight was an evening with a musician who holidays every year and played his music to us in the small bar (acoustic covers) including a song he’d written about La Garangeoire. Our dog had a fab time.
No dislikes but some small suggestions that would enhance this already amazing site. More dog bins (there was only one), safer cycle routes from the site, I wish I’d researched more about things to do outside of the site with our dog (we got too lazy once we were there), more smaller concerts and immersive/cultural experiences such as the painting, French lessons, food tastings etc. I liked that the WiFi was only at the centre-it got me off my phone.

The best pitch we’ve ever had (both times). Separated by tall hedges and big enough for caravan, anwning and 2 X 3 birth tents and a badminton set. Plenty shade too.
Again-only suggestions-less of the thorny bush cuttings at the back of the pitch (ouchy on bare feet and doggie paws). We were shaded really well by the trees but the falling acorns were noisy at night when it rained. However, I’d still prefer that for the shade. We really needed it.

A very friendly campsite, plenty of room on site, clean facilities, very good bar / restaurant facilities. Good site for children. All drivers on site were very considerate of children playing / cycling on roads.
Explanatory signs on the waste / recycling facilities would have been helpful. I found the system very confusing. Plenty of people scratching their heads when first using them.

The site has not changed at all since we first stayed the year before the pandemic. We were worried that maybe as with some other sites, things had declined as hospitality took a big hit. This was not the case. Everything was perfect and the kids just lvoe this site - and so do we

Loved almost everything to do with the site...kids already asking if we can go back next year. Garden and bouncy castle next to the bar was fantastic for meeting other campers and building friendships...both kids and adults.
WiFi was pretty flaky and phone signal not great...probably the only negative to our experience.

We absolutely love La Garangeoire, and plan on returning for years to come. The pool is beautiful, with a lovely pool bar. The pitches are amazing and we settle down for our 4 week stay, knowing we’re going to love our time. The team is brilliant, always greeting us with a smile, from the gardeners, cleaning staff to reception, bar staff and Ann & Eric.
We were disappointed to find tables reserved in the old bar from around 5:30 for the 6:30 cheese & wine. It’s our favourite bar, and we love sitting there in the early evening as we return from the pool, it would be good to see more tables available.

Soccer school with Miya, Benjamin and Maxence was a massive highlight for our boys. I loved the range of activities for adults and children. Campsite was so clean and friendly. Great recycling and waste systems too.

We had such a wonderful stay here. I have a teenage son age 13 and a daughter age 9 and they both absolutely loved it ! So much for everyone of all ages to do. We will be returning in 2024 and this will now be our annual holiday. Big pitches. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Our car broke down and we had to extend our holiday yet it was still the best holiday we have ever had, im just gutted it only got extended by 2 days haha Thank you all so so much xx

Friendliness and support from all staff.
The fact that some parents did not take responsibility for their children and seemed to expect La Garangeoire staff to parent for them. It is very disruptive for other holiday makers.

This is a large busy campsite but the pitches are HUGE and ours in particular was very tucked away and felt quite private. Very friendly, helpful staff who all had great english. Set on a beautiful estate with lots of great walks nearby and the sea just a few minutes drive away.

Everything I used except one aspect(see below)
For a otherwise excellent campsite I was very concerned about parking at the reception area. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the lack of parking space around this area is in my opinion totally unsafe. The provision of a cycle track and walkway is a great facility but the design is terrible. One motorhome and one car/caravan booking inblocked the area completely leaving children unseen and in grave danger of being injured on the very tight turn onto the Avenue leading to the pitches. Please take this as constructive criticism rather than a complaint of a lovely campsite.

The site and staff were very welcoming which made the whole stay extremely pleasant. We were very happy to come back again and find very little change after the Covid years. The works around the reception area have made a big difference to the cycle and pedestrian traffic and helps keep cars away from the busy areas.
Bar needs more staff with better education, during the day sometimes they were a little slow.

This was our 6th stay on the campsite! We have always enjoyed it here; it’s large enough to have plenty for kids and adults to do whilst not being so big that it’s over bearing. Staff have always been especially good; friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient.

This is our 2nd year camping at La Garangeoire and had another great holiday. A friendly site with fantastic sized pitches. Lots for our teenagers to do and a safe and family friendly environment.
The toilets were slightly less well attended to than last year and were often without toilet roll, but this is a very minor complaint against all the positives!

Made to feel welcome and at ease from the moment we arrived. We were escorted to our pitch which was really great and advised of site facilities. Washroom facilities were good. We found Entertainment programme good. Tennis courts great and nice bike rides.
Finding seating around pool would be difficult some days.

A brilliant camp-site which we have stayed at many times. Very well maintained, 10/10 all round.
Not happy with request to keep doors closed at sanitary blocks, to keep the swallows out. Not good to do so, during Covid. Very unpleasant being steamed up, and stale air, as no fresh air coming in. Constantly having to touch the door handles to open and shut.

This is our fifth visit to this marvellous site. It’s so peaceful. I have to commend each and every staff member for always being so pleasant and helpful. Can I add the cleanliness of the toilets. So so clean. Thank you to Anastasia for always answering my e mails.

Ruime besloten kampeerplaatsen op mooi landgoedterrein met ruim voldoende faciliteiten en vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.
Camping meest geschikt voor leeftijd tot 12 jaar. Schaduwplaatsen zijn fijn, wel jammer van de hars van de bomen en de duivenpoep. Watertemperatuur bij afwassen (in grote toiletgebouw) was beperkt.

Hele mooie camping met zeer ruime campingplaatsen. Het sanitair werd de hele dag door goed schoon gehouden. Veel activiteiten voor kinderen. Winkel met prima assortiment en goede bakkerij.Take away prima, met verbeteringen mogelijk. Kortom zeker een aanrader om naar toe te gaan!
Take away is de friet nog wel eens wat koud.. Restaurant maaltijden vonden we matig. Uit de bomen op de campeerplek komt plak. Indien mogelijk handig om met plaatsen van de tent hier rekening mee te houden.

Vriendelijk personeel, leuk zwembad en lagune, animatie in de avond, leuke speeltuin voor de kinderen, ze bieden veel activiteiten aan (door het slechte weer helaas weinig gebruik van kunnen maken). Handige app waarin ze ook updates zetten over de activiteiten. Over het algemeen een hele prettige camping.
Toiletgebouw werd niet goed schoongemaakt ondanks dat dit 3x ker dag gebeurde (geen zeep bijgevuld, muren en vloer niet schoon vooral herentoilet). Slecht internet bereik, WiFi over de hele camping zou fijn zijn. Er wordt verwacht dat er afval wordt gescheiden, waardoor je 4 verschillende dingen moet verzamelen maar is maat 1 punt helemaal bij de uitgang waar je het in kunt leveren. Ook weinig prullenbakken op de camping.

Fijne ruime plaats, redelijk vlak. Op een leuke plek op de camping tussen andere campeerders en dicht bij het toiletgebouw.
Het was een ruime plaats. Er wordt echter gezegd dat alle plaatsen tussen de 125 en 200m2 zijn, maar dat was deze plek niet (schat rond de 100m2). Er waren 2 dagen hele harde wind en bij onze plaats hing er een rotte boom behoorlijk scheef. In eerste instantie wilden ze hier niets mee doen, naar meermaals vragen werd de boom gestut.

De kampeerplekken zijn ruim opgezet en netjes onderhouden. De camping oogt schoon, alles wordt netjes bijgehouden. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en het eten bij de afhaal was goed. Genoeg te doen op de camping. De lagune was zalig ook al hadden wij niet zo mooi weer. Evenals het zwembad was erg leuk.
Onze dochter van bijna vier mocht niet mee doen met de kids club. Zelfs niet als een ouder erbij bleef. Dat vond vooral zij erg jammer. Het sanitair vonden we oud en niet goed genoeg schoon te gehouden. Voor een vijf sterren camping beneden niveau. Wel erg fijn was wc papier en het fontijntje op de wc zelf. Maar een gat in de grond voor de afvoer is smerig.

Het was fijn dat we een erg rustige plaats hadden, zeker met onze hond erbij. Bovendien dicht bij een toegang tot het bos en 4 prima aan geduide wandelwegen. Moesten we dichter bij het zwembad verblijven, dan hadden we 's avonds wel meer last gehad van muziek, tot 23u soms.
Qua hygiëne kan deze camping toch nog beter. Er zijn veel te weinig vuilnisbakken. Minstens in elk 'laantje' / straatje met kampeerplekken, alsook in het directe bos en bij de start en aankomst van de uitgestippelde wandelwegen. Het sanitair werd dagelijks gepoetst, dor jobstudenten. Dit gebeurde niet zo nauwkeurig. Er hing echt geen frisse geur in de toiletten en douches. Echt 'vuil' was het sanitair niet, maar dit kan toch beter. Ook aan vb. sanitair en jeu de boules moet WIFI komen. Op dit moment is de camping hierdoor zijn 5 sterren niet waard.

Wat op de website wordt getoond is ook wat je krijgt. De camping ligt prachtig en wordt goed onderhouden( tuin, gebouwen ed.) Wat een supergrote plaatsen met voldoende schaduw, rustig gelegen., mooie boswandelingen. Het meertje is een mooi extraatje. Zeer vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. De watertappunten Fonteko zijn ideaal.. Het snoep/speelgoedzakje voor de hond was een leuk gebaar. De manege, vriendelijk en dat kinderen gewoon mogen meehelpen.
Nagenoeg geen prullenbakken op het terrein. Als wij een wandeling maakte met de hond was dit een probleem want we konden de poepzakjes niet kwijt. Bij incheck verstrekken van meer informatie over stranden waar honden mogen, de caniwalk (die staat niet op de activiteitensheet). Als er kinderen buitenritten boeken op de manege niet alleen vragen hoe lang ze al rijden maar ook naar de vaardigheden/niveau. Onze dochter was niet voorbereid op rengalop/speegalop. Hierdoor is zij er geschrokken en had veel rugpijn. Bij het zwembad de toilet vaker schoongemaakt worden op hele drukke dagen/momenten
