Der schönste Campingplatz auf dem wir je gewesen sind. Wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde- Camping mit Stil. Es gibt nichts negatives zu sagen, außer das die Ente eine Frau braucht! Vielen Dank, wir werden euch weiter empfehlen!

Weather was very windy and rainy during our stay. We would not pickles a plot in the woods again. Felt quite risky in the eye of the storm.

We really enjoyed this campsite. Fab pool, great grounds, lovely shop and restaurant. Nice play area and barn. Toilets/shower area lovely and clean and pleasant to use.

We booked a pitch without electricity but had issues with our freezer 12-V power supply cable on the way there. When asked whether we can plug it in somewhere over the night to keep it cool, we were just told that we only booked a space without electricity. There should be more flexibility in those cases as power supply was only 10-15m away and we would have of course paid an extra charge.

We had a lovely stay. The weather was hot so appreciate our shadey pitch very much. It made it a lovely place to relax day and night. I don't know if it was deliberate but being a couple without children it felt like consideration has been given to this and we we were put on H5 In a lovely quiet spot. If this was deliberate it was very much appreciated since we were there for 9 nights . We loved the wine tasting on Friday and the pool and bar were beautiful. Also loved the village square feel in the village. We spent many lovely afternoons with an iced coffee in the shade of the restaurant.
Nothing we disliked at all. We had a lovely stay some things which would have made it even better would be if there was an access path from the H5 side of the campsite to the pool. It was fine to get to the pool if there was an empty pitch but otherwise we're cutting across people. Would also be fab to have a freezer for icepacs which was a bit more accessible ( in the laundry or washing up area maybe) if we got home after 6 we couldnt retrieve them. we also didn't know where to get water as we had a non electronic pitch and the water tap seemed allocated to other pitches, so we got some looks

Wasn't sure where to get water for our pitch as not labelled and water seemed.to be on other people's pitches. They didn't like us going to their electronic point. Maybe we missed something.

If this campsite was in Uk, I would report to asa for fake advertising, the L'Orangerie is now changing rooms, not sure how much of the L'Orangerie building is original, was looking forward to seeing oranges growing, nearest sanctity block to my location, had no wc’s accessible for either gender, no explanation and site still charging full price for the pitch, had I of known I might have booked a different campsite, ridiculous sized pitch for a campervan, trees everywhere, so not great for solar energy, however welcome for shielding from sun, no directions as to where water taps were.
The extended walk on crunchy paths to the working wc’s, at least 600m plus away, hazard of luke warm water for all the basins/ wash facilities, possible legionella hazard

Made friends with Dutch neighbours, otherwise cramped space and unsuitable for campervan needing view of sun for solar energy, not told about female wc’s u/s or location of water
No information prior to booking or on arrival that wc’s in south sanitary building were hors service, seriously suggest you carry out regular legionella and other bacteria testing for coliforms on the tepid water supply for all wash basin cubicles, water should be over 38deg with a cold tap as well as tepid tap ( I am an ACOP L8 competent person in Uk, so qualified to have an opinion on water systems wrt legionella prevention, Also a retired MIWFM and facilities manger of over 20yrs experience of managing buildings in Uk)

Lovely site in a unique location and setting. Great for seeing the local area and vineyards. Loved the Monday market evening with it's great atmosphere and locals selling their produce. Lovely swimming pool and area around the pool. Shop and snack bar was great and excellent recommendation to Caves Cathelineau, where we ended up buying a good few bottles of wine.

Nice large pitch with shaded areas.
Our pitch location was by the ball games area, which while we understand it has to go somewhere it was rather noisy until late (10.30pm) and the balls often came over to our pitch. The pitch itself could benefit from some of the holes being filled, bit of a trip hazard.

Great wine tasting cycling route recommended. Swimming pool is amazing. Pitch size was large for a 5 person tent and car. Toilet block was immaculate. Perfect dog walking in surrounding forest. Shop, coffee bar and restaurant were all well stocked and lovely. Orangery also provided charging points and wifi if remote working was needed.
Nothing - we will be coming again.

Der Foodmarkt montags ist super.
Schade, dass das beworbene Kinderprogramm ganz spontan verschoben wurde. Außerdem wäre es schön, wenn auch das 2. Toilettenhaus wieder in Betrieb genommen werden kann, so sind die Wege - gerade nachts und für Kinder - doch sehr weit.

Endlich habe ich auch in Frankreich einen Platz gefunden, den ich richtig schön finde. Ich konnte sofort entspannen und die Schönheit der Natur und der unglaublich schönen Bäume geniessen. Der Pool, das Restaurant,..... alles perfekt. Ich werde sehr gerne wieder kommen!
Die Sanitäranlagen waren tip top, einzig die Duschen waren an diesem Morgen nicht ganz so sauber beim Wasserablauf.

We really enjoyed our day at the Chateau, had we known before how beautiful it is, we would have planned for a longer visit. The garden and everything else is in fantastic shape. The staff is very helpful.

Gemoedelijk, fijne sfeer. Hele fijne mensen allemaal. Lekker eten, lekker drinken. Fijne plekken. Goed zwembad. Leuk ook met de food trucks, de jeu de boules wedstrijd etc.
Slechte wifi. Geen verlichting op de jeu de boules baan. Gebrek aan een zandbak of iets dergelijks voor kleinere kinderen. Iets te weinig aanbod in het winkeltje (ook qua wijn). De bar mag wat eerder open. De viering op zondag ook met een Nederlandse talk? Of een aparte NL dienst? Iets meer animatie voor ouderen (voetbaltoernooi, waterpolo, hardloop ronde, racefiets ronde etc). Het zijn wat kleine puntjes, maar we willen het graag benoemen.

Gelukkig bestaat er nog een camping zoals deze waar je echt kampeert en niet tussen de stacaravans staat. Mooie groene camping
Helaas voor ons waren we er precies op de dagen dat het restaurant dicht is (zondag en maandag)

Prachtige plek in het bos, met kasteel en heerlijk zwembad. Voor pelgrims en wie dat wil elke ochtend een dagopening. Wij hadden een wespennest in de grond, wel 4 keer is de crew langs geweest om te checken of de bestrijding adequaat was. Super! Verder genoten van boomkruipers in de bomen op onze plek.

Het domein is prachtig; bosrijk en de gebouwen die er staan hebben een architecturale charme.
Het enige minpunt voor ons is dat het ver lopen was naar de wc aangezien het dichtstbijzijnde sanitair-blok steeds gesloten was

Aangezien de kampeerplekken zich in een bosrijk gebied bevinden is er voldoende schaduw hetgeen nodig was tijdens de hitteperiode in juli 2022 dat wij er verbleven.

Ons verblijf was super! Aardige staf, goede voorzieningen, geweldig verwarmd zwembad en het was ook niet super druk op de camping waardoor we alle ruimte hadden.
Duurde een tijdje voor de douche warm werden en als ze warm werden dan konden ze heel heet worden.

Was een klein beetje stoffig en weinig gras waar wij stonden. Maar ook wel logisch als er weinig zon komt.
