Gentillesse et accueil de l'ensemble du personnel.. proximité de la forêt. Anne et Eric ont le sens du services et de l'accueil. "Bienvenue chez vous" correspond bien à l'ambiance du camping.

Les gosses qui courent et crient au restaurant. Manque un dog sitter pour que ce soit parfait.

Les emplacements spacieux, la propreté, l'entretien des espaces verts, l'espace aquatique, l'environnement, les balades en foret, l'étang et même le caniparc. Les soirées et le restaurant très agréables. La proximité du centre équestre. Les propriétaires très présents et agréables ainsi que tout le personnel.

Leuk verblijf gehad met een toffe combinatie van bezoekjes aan het strand en het zwembad van de camping. Daguitstap naar ile d'yeu was ook heel leuk en goed geholpen geweest aan het onthaal om de boot te boeken. Goed uitgeruste campingwinkel. Afhaal aan de snackbar was ook heel goed georganiseerd. De ijsjes vielen in de smaak aan het zwembad. Top vakantie gehad. Bedankt

Accueil et l'ensemble du personnel chaleureux, gentil, serviable... Camping calme et tres agréable. J'y retournerai. Parc canin pour detacher les chiens en toute sécurité très agréable surtout la partie ombragée pour les détenteurs et toujours de l'eau fraiche à disposition. Pour conclure je me sentais très à l'aise. La fische d'introduction bienvenue chez vous correspond tout à fait.

Parfait pour les 2 petits jours qu’on s’est accordé en famille. Avec tout sur place, tout le monde s’est amusé.

Nous sommes venue avec notre chien, et avons beaucoup apprécié le cadeaux d'accueil et tout les services en place, car malheureusement ils sont de moin en moin bien accueilli. Merci

Nous avions pas été prévenu qu'il y avait autant d'anglophones pour les enfants ce n'était pas très pratique ils n'ont pas pu aller au club enfant car même les animateurs parlait anglais.. le lagon est annoncer à 90 cm au maximum et finalement il en fait à peu près 50 cm, les animations du soir sont pas top et se termine beaucoup trop tôt.

Huge pitch, friendly staff, great facilities, and we loved how much they encouraged reduction of waste and recycling. We hired a fridge which made life much easier.

Felt safe, secure & immaculately clean. Perfect for families with young children (mine were aged 6 & 9) - we will definitely return.

Pool isn’t big enough for campsite capacity, could do with bigger water slides. It would be nice to prepare the on-site lake to make it suitable for bathing and paddle boarding, noting it was in significantly better condition than the lac du jauney (which we couldn’t use as it was it terrible condition) please note, these are my only negative observations, the campsite is beautiful, safe and clean!!

This is our second year staying here and we had another fantastic holiday

The only criticism is the pool complex is too small for the size of site and ideally needs to be bigger (probably not possible) and have more sun loungers/chairs around it.

The development of the front pedestrian and cycle paths, topped off by the fountain show that La Garangeoire is re-investing in itself? The stage has been revamped, and the Lagoon is new!

We've been visiting this site on a number of occasions in the last 18 years. A wonderful site that's clean, safe and really relaxed and friendly with lots to do. It never disappoints.

When we needed some help, the staff could not have been more helpful. The site has great entertainment, a super atmosphere and is beautifully located.

Our camping pitch was muddy and very shaded. When we return, we will know to request a sunny pitch higher up the hill. However, everyone on the went above expectation to help to make our pitch and stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you

Staff were excellent, on site activities were great and a great location. Good shop on site but not sure why they close for a few hours in the middle of the day.

The lagoon was great for kids to play around but I'm not sure that it is maintained correctly. There didnt appear to be any backwashing of the filter and replenishing of the water. I could be wrong. But there is only a small volume of water but a lot of children playing in there.

Wide range of activities - enjoyed the wine & cheese and paddleboats. It was lovely to see food being served in the bar again - we missed that last year. Restaurant is excellent.

Lack of consistency - food in the bar some days but not others with no notice, or stopped early even after giving out menus. Rules around the pool seemed to change - ok to have a ball some days, not ok others. The pool area is limited compared to other sites so my son didn’t want to be at the pool this year in case he was told off. Pool side bathrooms were really dirty. No gluten free products in the shop or advertised in the takeaway or restaurant

Although you are trying to be eco friendly the bins are a long way out which means most people were driving to the them. Defeats the object really. Our pitch we were told was 50/50 sunny. Incorrect was fully 100% shaded. When asked if we can change was given a map of the site and told to go and look ourselves. No assistance. When someone did come down to us we tried to hand back our key to be told we have to go to reception. The same person then took the key off us in reception. Not dog treats upon arrival. All the little things that made you good last year are no longer there.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was any trouble. Anne’s walk and knowledge was superb. We loved the history lesson. The facilities were fabulous you had opportunities to join in or sit back and take it easy.

liked everything, from first impressions turning into the site it looked very clean, pitches were all nice and clean and tidy, our comfort privacy pitch was great with its own shower, toilet, sink basically everything you could need, very nice stay

Very efficient well run operation, fantastic staff, clean facilities and excellent large pitches to meet all requirements. Excellent range of activities across the age ranges and many free which is a bonus.

I know we were part of the problem being English but it was a shame that the site was not more mixed - why aren’t the French or Dutch or Germans using this fabulous site - do the Brits just book it up so early? As we were on the tail end of the season some activities weren’t running eg archery and teenage paintballing (despite having booked at reception)or had unadvertised adjusted timings eg aquafit - but that was not a big issue. Thought the take away food outlet was rather understaffed when we used it and the two staff running it were doing a sterling job despite the heavy demand.

We loved this site and we hope to come back again in 2024. So many great things about this site. One of the prettiest too, as you drive up to enter the site it’s truly beautiful. We loved the tennis, boules, table tennis and the boys loved the big football pitch. The timetable for activities was amazing we have not had this before, the kids enjoyed the inflatables night and the hair braiding. Trampolining was scheduled for a few times a week and the horse riding was an experience my daughter will never forget. The pool is a nice area with good slides and the lagoon was very special.

The takeaway was disappointing, I ordered the lasagne and it was cold. We took it back and they apologised, gave us free chips and heated up the lasagne, unfortunately the lasagne was still cold but at this point we gave up trying. Also disappointed that we were unable to join in the eurocamp activities for the children, we were restricted to the camp kids club as we booked directly with the campsitewhich didn’t have the same amount of activities unfortunately, my daughter was looking forward to the chocolate party to be told eurocamp only. However the camp site had a fantastic timetable.

Great campsite with lots of available activities. All the staff were really helpful and accommodating. The children loved the pools and lagoon. Would definitely stay again.

The fonteko water machine was a bit temperamental with big queues of people waiting to use it at times. It didn't seem like the most efficient system which meant sometimes you lost some water. Also the recycling bins were temperamental and it was hard to scan the Qr code from the bag.

We loved the pool in the morning before it got busy, we loved the boulevard and having a coffee. The take away was good. We loved our own toilet. Staff were lovely. Would return

The pool in the afternoon was heaving with little kids which was a shame because it was so hot it was what you wanted to do. I sometimes wished there was a place to go and just sit like a town square feel. Maybe some chairs by the fountain, some fairy lights in the evening, some music playing. It was hard because drinks at the bar were so expensive if you wanted to go and see life you had to spend a fortune. A bit more teenage friendly things. Everything seemed full of little kids. Maybe have different options and mark it on schedule so that some things were more for adults.

Huge pitch with private facilities which was well worth the extra. Reception staff are incredibly helpful with everything from check in to advice about days out and activities. Eva and Faustine were particularly helpful. Pool was a perfect temperature and most days you could get a sun bed. Kids (aged 14 and 11) met plenty of others their ages and although didn’t chose to do many of the organised activities could have it they wanted to. We will be back!

Great campsite with good facilities, will definitely return.

Lots of wasps around the bar area, making it quite intimidating at times. Pool could have been clearer, but that was mainly due to volume of people. Wooden area around the pool needs replacing as lots of loose boards and risk of splinters.

All staff were extremely friendly polite and efficient. Lovely setting. Our pitch was spacious and the private toilet ans shower was great.

During our two week stay we could not get a seat by the swimming pool tried on several days that we did not go out. Always overcrowded eventually we waited till after 5pm to be able to find a space. This was extremely disappointing. The swimming pool is too small for the amount of people staying on site and we were surprised how many eurostar and holiday chalets there were we thought this was predominantly a camping/caravan site. We would not return because of the issues with the pool.

While travelling could only get two nights available here but on arrival they could accommodate us for 6 nights which was fantastic did have to move pitch couple of times but was no problem overall fabulous campsite we’ve two girls ages 15 and 11 and plenty for everyone to do staff all very very nice and helpful highly recommend staying here we will certainly be back

Well organised and busy site, with good facilities and activity programme.

Given we were camping, we would have preferred not to be immediately next door to the Eurocamp emplacements, with like-minded campers/caravanners.

We booked through Le French Time for Castels. This is not a regular for Castels - it’s eurocamp. It was full of hundreds of pitches and we were in a pitch down the end far away from the amenities. The pitch was full of blue bottle flies (which come from maggots) - hundreds. We had to keep the fly screen shut at all times they were all clinging on the doors. There was also a load of poo in the corner of our pitch. I told reception who sent technical to clean it up. He came and clean some but not all - Not nice with small children walking around.

The above, asked reception for a refund for one of the nights and was told no (we had booked 4 nights and told the reception straight away about the problems).

Wir waren mit dem Wohnwagen auf dem Platz und hatten einen riesigen Stellplatz. Das private Badehaus war zwar klein aber funktionell. Es war wunderbar ruhig auf dem gesamten Platz und es gibt schöne Wege zum Spazieren.

Leuke bar, fijn zwembad met veel liggelegenheid. Prima winkeltje een enorm grote plaatsen. Ook scheiding camping en huisjes is prettig.

Veel betaald voor privé sanitair. Maar het houten huisje op onze plaats was zo krap dat ik niet kon douchen zonder helm. Overal stoot je je tegen en afdrogen is bijna onmogelijk. Dat was een tegenvaller.

Privé sanitair erg krap. Veel duiven boven onze caravan, die de tent erg bevuild hebben. Veel werk om de tent weer schoon te krijgen.??

Dit is één van de mooiste campings die we ooit bezocht hebben. Netjes, zeer ruime plaatsen en zeer rustig, grote supermarkt en lekker eten in het restaurant. Alles is gelegen temidden van een groene omgeving met bos, vijvers ver van alle drukte weg. Een echte aanrader !

Als we toch iets moeten opmerken is dat bij aankomst de receptie ietwat druk was, maar dat was misschien een momentopname.

Super mooie camping in de Vendee waar je het je aan niets ontbreekt. Vond fijn dat iedereen behulpzaam en netjes was vooral bij de receptie hulp met regelen van kaartjes tot het brengen op je kampeerplaats. Een camping waar je overal in de buurt zit in de omgeving en waar veel te doen is! We komen in de toekomst graag nog eens terug hebben hier genoten als gezin!

Jammer was dat er geen Nederlandse animatie was voor onze kinderen. Hier moesten onze kids aan wennen. Moet wel zeggen dat de Frans en Engelse mensen van het animatieteam de kids zo goed mogelijk hebben geholpen.
