Il y a trop de demandes de contribution financière (Payer un tournoi de foot ou de molky ) Les enfants n’avaient même pas de lots de consolation… Toilettes sales à côté de la piscine

I liked the free use of pedals and canoes.
We never appreciated on booking that the campsite shut on the 10th of sept. We were shocked to find a reduced activity list, the shop had empty shelves and every night there was so much noise as people enjoyed their last night at the camp and then left early the next morning. I thought the pool complex was too small for such a big campsite and the lagoon area was disgusting - algae in the water and it’s just so random in a field by a road… it would have been better positioned by the lake! Also I thought the pedal cars and course was messy and old… it seemed very expensive for three kids.

I think for the price paid the tent was good value. Maybe we paid reduced rates though as it was send if season
The noise from the road was also a problem. I asked for a quiet pitch and in hindsight, the safari tent we had was a better position to others but the whole bottom area feels disconnected to the rest of the site. The road is very noisy throughout the night. Our tent also faced two caravans. The rugs in the tent had also not been washed all season and there were three cleaning issues we found at check in… dried tomato sauce on placemats, fish remains down the side of the tent next to the bbq which our child walked in and then it was transferred through the tent.

The facilities were as expected given our stays at the campsite before. There was plenty to do and the bar had enough offerings to keep us refreshed during the day.
Wasp issue around the bar caused some discomfort when trying to relax with a drink.

Our first time in the safari tent offering and we were not disappointed. It was spacious and clean with good bathroom facilities. The decking outside made meal times much easier in the sun.
The double bed had 2 single mattresses on it which made sleeping a little harder. There was also no light switch the children could reach particularly in the bathroom where there was only an above mirror light.

Super camp site with great facilities, activities & above all friendly & helpful staff. Enough going on in the evening to entertain without turning the place into Marbella & a good range of activities in the day time (the kids clubs & football camps were especially good). Overall a friendly & welcoming site great I would say for families with kids. Visitors seem to return continually which says a lot! Thanks Team Castel Camping La Garangeoire!
Pool a little crowded in the day but fine in the morning & early evening. The extra fees for everything (on top of paying a high accommodation fee) such as entering tournaments were a little annoying.

The Safari Lodge was well equipped & comfortable. My only complaint would be it was a little dark inside (wardrobe areas especially) with limited lighting & switches that were quite high & niggly to access (especially for kids). That said my gang preferred the Safari Lodge to the Compact Mobile home (for the following 4 nights) which was a little too compact (& hot). A friendly and fun place for families, especially with young kids but also teens. Plenty to see and do. Lovely location, too!
Reception can get very busy at times, leading to lengthy waits, as well as the bar/ice-cream stall. Take out food was ok but a bit limited.

On a couple of nights the blanket(s) provided wasn't warm enough unfortunately.

One small point - it was very cold at night so an extra bed cover would be useful. Or advice to customers to bring an extra cover.

Didn’t dislike anything. Would love more market traders to be on the campsite in the evenings. Would love more food options on the campsite.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad op deze mooie camping. De vriendelijkheid en bereidheid tot helpen van de receptie medewerkers was helemaal top. Zij hebben mij geweldig geholpen in het contact met de franse auto garage.
Klein verbeterpuntje; Een haakje in de badkamer voor ophangen handdoek zou fijn zijn

De camping is heel netjes onderhouden, heeft veel te doen voor alle leeftijden en het personeel is heel klantvriendelijk
Er waren heel veel Ierse gasten waardoor we wat minder aansluiting hadden. Had ook het idee dat de animatie hierop voornamelijk gericht was. We maakte hier 'gelukkig' vrijwel geen gebruik van.

Heerlijk dat we een keuken hadden met stromend water en een eigen douche! De ruimte was ook heerlijk.
De ligging van de safarietent was niet echt rustig. We hoorde de weg (in de ochtend leek het wel een snelweg), we zaten op een hoek waar alle kinderen vanaf de heuvel racede met de fiets dus onze kids moesten goed uitkijken. De bedden van het bed voor de ouders waren hard. Ik heb hierdoor zelf helaas 2 weken last gehad van enorme spierpijn en nekpijn. Jammer dat hierop toch altijd bezuinigd lijkt te worden!

Le lodge dispose de deux chambres communicantes, d'un salon - cuisine spacieux. Avec une salle de bain et des toilettes privées, le camping est devenu vraiment confortable.
- 1 chambre avec lit double 160 x 200 cm.
- 1 chambre avec 2 structures lits superposés, soit 4 lits de 80 x 200 cm.
- Chambres communicantes séparées par un rideau.
- Couvertures et oreillers.
- Pas de chauffage / 2 ventilateurs.
- Cuisine équipée ouverte sur la terrasse avec réfrigérateur/congélateur, plaque de cuisson induction 3 feux, bouilloire électrique, micro-ondes, évier avec eau chaude, vaisselle pour 6 personnes.
- Salle d’eau avec cabine de douche (80 x 80 cm), lavabo et toilettes. Sèche-cheveux.
- Façade entièrement ouvrante sur la terrasse par fermeture éclair.
- Mobilier d’extérieur, 2 bains de soleil, barbecue à gaz.
- Terrasse de 15 m² surélevée avec accès par 3 marches, couverte au 2/3.
Il est possible d'arriver tous les jours de la semaine (sauf le dimanche en Juillet-Août). 2 nuits minimum sauf en haute saison, 3 nuits minimum.
Dans le respect de notre engagement environnemental, nos hébergements ne sont pas équipés de la climatisation.
