Petits à côté qui font le charme des vacances beaucoup trop chers et peu variés (restauration/snack, activités type mini golf ou tir à l'arc par exemple), sentiment que tout est sujet à facturation supplémentaire (seconde voiture facturée 40€ pour être simplement garée sur le parking pendant la durée du séjour, jeton de lessive à 6€ sans la lessive,...), camping adapté à une clientèle très majoritairement anglophone (difficultés pour sociabiliser notamment pour nos ados, rythme/mode de vacances très différents), peu d'ambiance (on ne voit pas les animateurs), manque d'incarnation du camping.

Quality of entertainment, and things to do. Plus location!

I reported to reception receiving a significant electric shock from a hairdryer in the shower block. It was disappointing that not only was I not asked if i was ok but that the hairdryer was not removed after reporting this incident.

We love the setting feeling rustic & yet great facilities. Staff are always friendly & polite. Great activities on offer to suit everyone from horse riding, tennis, wine tasting & forest walks. Great coffee & local produce

More sunbeds around new area of pool. Ice machine at water stations. Washing machine tokens available at reception for when shop is closed.

We loved our previous stay so much we brought back the whole family. We loved the facilities, the atmosphere, the activities. My 9 year old loved going to pick up breakfast from the shop every morning. It felt very safe to let him go alone. I really like the green eco friendly initiatives. I was so pleased to see the swallows again. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The 10pm noise reduction was very well adhered to.

It got too hot for our dog. The dog field is great and a small pool would be a great addition in the crazy hot weather. The crepes felt rushed and our stove was too hot so they were burning within seconds of pouring. Last time it was a more leisurely relaxing experience.

Every aspect of La Garangeoire works so well. The staff are all helpful, friendly and positive and the owners are always visible and work so hard. The new fountain and splash area addition to the pool area is beautiful and such a lovely relaxing place to still be at the pool but without the hustle and bustle - perfect for those who need somewhere a little more calm. Our teenagers love meeting up with friends they have made in previous years. We just love coming here and I’m sure we will be back next year!

We love the bands in the evening and wish there could be more!

We had a wonderful holiday at La Garangeoire and will be back next year! We especially enjoyed the swimming pools and slides, and the entertainment provided. Our children loved the football training!

Friendly staff, very clean, lovely pitches, shop is good value for money, very safe for children, quiet at night, easy to get connected to nature - walking, fishing, biking. Everything you need on site.

Can’t think of anything - difficult to improve on such a high quality place.

The campsite setting is beautiful. We stayed on a premium camping pitch and the site was fantastic - large hedges separating each pitch to provide privacy. The restaurant was very impressive - delicious food of a high standard, take-away options plentiful too. The catering staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was nice to relax in the courtyard and enjoy a drink in evenings whilst the kids can play nearby.

The toilet/shower facilities were often very dirty (daily). Appreciate that we stayed during peak holiday season, however we stayed at other campsites during this period and the facilities on those (similar) sites were significantly cleaner. The uncovered swimming pool was also very crowded most of the time.
